It is grown in the mountains of South America, mainly in high altitude regions of Peru.

Maca is considered one of the world’s natural superfoods because of its many health benefits. One of these benefits is hormone balance that often contributes to improving the symptoms of PMS and menopause. Is it believed to help control estrogen levels in the body.
